HOW TO SUBMIT FOR VOL. 12 OF OXMO
Step 1: Choose Your Section
The Oxford Monitor of Forced Migration (OxMo) offers six sections for submissions: Academic Articles, Policy Monitor, Law Monitor, Field Monitor, and Artistic and Creative Expressions. For detailed requirements, refer to our Section Overview. If you're unsure which section best fits your work, feel free to reach out to us at oxmofm@gmail.com.

Step 2: Review Our Style Guidelines
Please familiarise yourself with our Style Guidelines, which cover citation formats, font preferences, and other important formatting details. Ensuring your submission aligns with these guidelines is greatly appreciated.

Step 3: Finalising Your Submission
When your paper is ready for send off, please please follow these steps:

Preparing the document:

Submit your text in Word format.

Include an abstract (approximately 200 words).

Anonymise your document (do not include your name or affiliation).

Ensure your bibliography follows our Style Guidelines.

Additional materials:

Provide a brief bio (approximately 100 words) in a separate document.

Attach a signed copy of our publishing agreement.

Specify the section you are submitting to.

If you like, you can include a photo to feature alongside your piece on our website. This can depict a situation or scene that goes well with the content of your piece. If this is not an image taken by you, please provide the appropriate source credit.

What happens after submission?

Review process:

All submissions undergo an intitial review process. Please allow a few weeks for us to notify you about the status of your piece. Each article is reviewed by at least one editor, with recommendations made to our co-editors-in-chief, who make the final publication decisions.

Feedback:

Accepted articles will receive detailed feedback from an assigned editor to refine the work before publication. Due to the volume of submissions, we can only provide feedback on accepted pieces.

Publication:

There is no limit to the number of articles that can be published in each section. Each submission is judged on its own merit.

The current issue is expected to be published in early 2025.
